IP Labs 2.0 Set to Empower Nigerian Innovators
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has officially launched the call for applications for the second cohort of its transformative IP Labs 2.0 Acceleration program. This initiative, designed to accelerate Nigeria’s burgeoning tech ecosystem, promises to equip early-stage startups with the tools, knowledge and networks needed to leverage intellectual property (IP) for rapid business growth.
The WIPO Nigeria Office (WNO), under the leadership of Dr. Oluwatobiloba Moody, has been at the forefront of promoting innovation and IP rights across the country. IP Labs 2.0 is more than just a program; it's a platform that empowers Nigerian startups to become global players by harnessing the power of intellectual property.
In partnership with The Orbra Company, led by CEO Ololade Otayemi, the IP Labs 2.0 program offers a comprehensive acceleration experience. Participants will benefit from expert mentorship, specialized IP training, and invaluable networking opportunities that are critical for scaling their businesses.
